Many echo the sentiments of MMG recording artist, Wale, on his single “Miami Nights” as he proclaims, “Miami nights, it was all a dream, if I can get my money right, I’m bout to OD” but few have actually experienced it. For the past eight years, Jessica Marquez—also known as Simply Jess—and her close knit family of The 400 have provided the drug that thousands flock to Miami’s exotic South Beach yearly to take a hit of. Not only is Jess the co-owner of The 400 and Miami’s number one promoter, she is known nationally as South Beach’s “go to girl” for the best Miami has to offer.

Weekly, Jess sets the stage of opulence at Mokai, Rush and Cameo for A-Listers that include Trey Songz, Terrance J and Rocsi, Meagan Good, J. Cole, Tank, Miguel, Busta Rhymes, Shemar Moore and many more. From the best in accommodations, dining and women, Jess and “The 400 Life” provide what has become the standard for nightlife. She prides herself in infusing the finer things in life within all aspects of her operation – luxurious atmosphere, fine dining, handsome, affluent men and of course, the main attraction of South Beach, gorgeous women. As she consistently states, “the party, club scene is always about…the look.”

These aspects mixed together provide the perfect cocktail which Jess mixes perfectly to provide the ultimate experience. She’s in the business of providing all that is sexy in entertainment, not just sex as many assume. Yes, she admits that sex plays a major part when dealing with affluent people of power, but her job is not to provide sex…it is to create “the look” - a relaxing, sexy environment for her clientele. The reality of sex comes naturally as part of the structure of the environment when you bring together sexy people in the ideal setting. Never, in any circumstance, have the beautiful women of 400 been solicited or coerced into any situation. The atmosphere Jess creates and has mastered—an atmosphere defined by sexy, comfortable swag—has only influenced them.

As she moves forward in 2012, the beautiful, ambitious and single Jess is embarking on the next stepping-stone of her career, Simply Productions, which will build upon the foundations set by The 400. Simply Productions will focus on more full-scale private event planning to be branded with Jess’ personal signature. A self-produced reality show is also in the works. More details are forthcoming.
